Crash Test Dummies

On 17 October 2026 at Exeter Phoenix, Crash Test Dummies bring the folk-hued alternative rock that defined their early years. Led by Brad Roberts' distinct baritone and Ellen Reid's melodic counterpoint, the Canadian group revisit the songs that carried them worldwide in the early 90s: Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, Superman's Song, and their version of The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead, alongside material that traces the arc from The Ghosts That Haunt Me to God Shuffled His Feet and later albums. Three-time Grammy nominees and winners at the JUNO Awards, they keep close to the acoustic textures and steady rhythms that shaped their sound.

On stage, the band features original members Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts and Mitch Dorge, joined by long-time guitarist Stuart Cameron and keyboard player Leith Fleming-Smith. Reunited in 2018 after a long break, they have since toured across North America, Europe and Australia, with a set built around signature songs and the blend of folk and alt-rock that has marked their records.
