The Dip

Seattle’s The Dip carry a vintage soul pulse into the present, a seven-piece that builds songs from heartfelt writing, warm guitar lines and a horn section that steers the dynamics. Rooted in classic rhythm and blues from the 60s and 70s, they shape that heritage with clean, direct melodies and detailed arrangements that feel close to the room. After The Dip Delivers in 2019 and Sticking With It in 2022, the band push further on their latest album, Love Direction, tightening grooves, sharpening vocal harmonies and giving the rhythm section more space without losing the easy warmth that defines their sound.

On stage, expect slow-burn ballads alongside nimble mid-tempo cuts and lightly funk-tinged turns, all framed by trumpet and sax lines that weave in and out of a steady backbeat.
