Info

Panchiko land in Bristol for a night at Electric Bristol on 23 October 2026. The Nottingham band folds indie rock into dream pop and shoegaze, blurring lo‑fi textures with saturated guitars and discreet electronic touches. First known for quietly circulated CD‑Rs like D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L and Kicking Cars, they resurfaced years later and shaped a set that threads those early, grainy cuts with newer material. On stage, they lean into haze and melody rather than sheer volume, with Owain Llewelyn’s vocal lines riding chiming riffs and woozy rhythms. The songs from Failed at Math(s) add a tighter backbone without smoothing out the patina that made the project stand apart.

Support comes from Alison's Halo, the Arizona outfit led by Catherine and Adam Cooper. Rooted in the 90s US dream pop and shoegaze circuit, they balance gauzy vocals and thick, floating guitars with melodies that stay clear under the saturation. Their live return draws a line from early tapes Slug and Halo to the single Dozen and beyond, reconnecting with a catalog that still clicks on stage, somewhere between drift and drive.
