Gabrielle « The Hits »

Gabrielle brings The Hits to Symphony Hall, Birmingham on 19 April 2027. Emerging from Hackney clubs in the early 90s, the British singer-songwriter built a catalogue where R&B, pop and soul meet clear hooks and unvarnished storytelling. This show lines up the tracks that marked her path: the breakthrough Dreams, the tender Give Me a Little More Time, the title cut Rise, and Out of Reach from the Bridget Jones’s Diary soundtrack, alongside later songs from Under My Skin, Do It Again and A Place in Your Heart.

On stage, Gabrielle leans into what has shaped her over the years: mid-tempo grooves, pared-back arrangements and ballads that leave space for her supple, slightly grainy tone. The set sketches the journey from the youthful pulse of Find Your Way and her self-titled album to the more spacious soul-pop of the late 90s and 2000s, then toward recent material that keeps the line steady without leaning on nostalgia. A tour through three decades of songwriting, focused on the essentials and on the songs everyone knows by heart.
