San Francisco’s LSD and the Search for God brings its reverb-drenched shoegaze to Òran Mór in Glasgow on 18 October 2026. Active since the mid-2000s, the band shapes dense guitar layers, slow-burn rhythms and vocals folded deep into the mix, somewhere between shoegaze, dream pop and a spaced-out psych edge. Their self-titled 2007 EP circulated widely in independent circles and put them on club stages; a follow-up, Heaven Is a Place (2017), extended the same palette with new contours and melodies.
On stage, they favor immersion over showmanship: volume as texture, feedback as architecture, riffs stretched into waves where melodies surface gradually. The set draws on both EPs and years of road-tested material, letting repetition and dynamics carry the motion. With a deliberately lean discography, the emphasis stays on sound itself, built from thick layers, long phrases and an unhurried pulse.
