The Sweet land at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on 11 December 2026 for a night of glam-rock stomp and sugar-rush hooks. Born in the early-70s singles wars, the band perfected the blend of tough riffs, stacked harmonies and handclap choruses that powered Blockbuster, Hellraiser, Ballroom Blitz, Teenage Rampage and The Sixteens. That recipe carried Fox on the Run to No. 3 in the US and planted Sweet firmly in the front rank of British rock. Today, Andy Scott’s touring lineup keeps that catalogue sharp and loud, with the theatrical wink and precision that made those songs stick on both sides of the Atlantic.
Special guest John Otway brings his singular mix of punky energy, folk-pop melody and deadpan mischief. After a notorious Old Grey Whistle Test appearance and the 1977 hit Really Free, he carved out a cult path built on fearless stagecraft and chorus-ready earworms. From his early partnership with Wild Willy Barrett to later favourites like Bunsen Burner, Otway’s sets swing from tender to unhinged, often in the same verse—a live wire warm-up before The Sweet take over.
