Beverley Knight

Beverley Knight brings her blend of soul, R&B and gospel to Music Hall in Aberdeen on 16 June 2026. Raised on Pentecostal church music in Wolverhampton, she carries that grounding into a vocal style shaped by groove and clarity. Since her debut The B-Funk (1995), she has moved through Prodigal Sista, Who I Am and Affirmation, opening her sound to pop textures while staying rooted in soul. Later records Music City Soul, 100%, Soul UK, Soulsville and, most recently, The Fifth Chapter trace that journey.

On stage, Knight usually draws widely from her catalogue, sometimes nodding to British soul staples she has championed alongside her own cuts. Years in the West End with The Bodyguard, Memphis, Cats, The Drifters Girl, Sylvia and Sister Act have sharpened her timing and storytelling, while big-stage turns with Take That and Prince marked important steps in her live path. In Aberdeen, she lines up a set that links early tracks to newer material from The Fifth Chapter, carried by a band attentive to detail and a strong connection to her gospel roots.
