In a semi-acoustic performance at Brewery Arts, Kendal, on Saturday 16 May 2026, Barbara Dickson and pianist Nick Holland explore her catalogue of songs. Barbara lets the words and melodies take centre stage. She will perform material drawing on her folk roots, contemporary writers and some of her classic hits.

Emerging from the Scottish folk scene of the late 1960s, Barbara enjoyed mainstream chart success with hits including Answer Me, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, Caravan and the single I Know Him So Well. She has earned 6 platinum, 11 gold and 7 silver albums. Nick Holland joined Barbara’s touring band in the mid-2000s and has remained with her since, playing keyboards and producing her recent albums.

Special guest is Anthony Toner, known for fingerstyle guitar and songwriting. He has shared the stage with Barbara Dickson, Frances Black, Guy Clark, Nanci Griffith and Van Morrison.
