Info
On 8 June 2026 at Albert Hall, Manchester, Aldous Harding brings her spare folk and subtly off-kilter pop into focus. The New Zealand singer and songwriter has built a body of songs that move from stark acoustic ballads to intimate, keyboard-led pieces. After a first self-titled album in 2014, she joined 4AD and recorded Party in 2017 with producer John Parish, then widened the palette with Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022).
On stage, Harding shifts between guitar and piano, solo or backed by a tight group, letting space and phrasing carry the tension. Her writing leans on elliptical lyrics, crisp arrangements and distinct changes of voice that steer a melody in unexpected ways. The set tends to weave early material with later tracks, sliding from hushed, slow-burn moments to light chamber-pop turns without losing the thread. Expect a focused performance where small details matter: a pause, a chord change, a glance that reshapes the room. Aldous Harding at Albert Hall is about presence more than posture, and songs that settle in quietly before revealing their contours.
