Shez Raja is a bassist who has drawn comparisons to Jaco Pastorius. Playing a fusion of Indo-jazz, funk and groove, he has collaborated with Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Wayne Krantz and Trilok Gurtu.
Joining Shez is guitarist Guthrie Govan, known for his work with Hans Zimmer. He has appeared on the covers of Guitar Player and Guitar World.
Now touring the album Spellbound, featuring Dennis Chambers, Shez, Guthrie and Tony bring this music to the stage at The Jam House, Birmingham, on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
The music spans jazz, funk and improvisation.
