Yes brings The Fragile Tour to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on 3 May 2027. A fixture of British progressive rock since 1968, the band forged a sound where psychedelic currents meet classical and jazz influences, with long-form pieces, layered vocal harmonies and wide instrumental passages. The run of The Yes Album and Fragile in 1971, followed by Close to the Edge, set a symphonic direction with Steve Howe on guitar and Rick Wakeman on keyboards. In the 1980s, the group pivoted to tighter song formats with 90125, before returning to broader canvases on Talk, The Ladder and Magnification. More recently, The Quest (2021) and Mirror to the Sky (2023) extended that blend of progressive contours and melodic focus.
