This Will Destroy You bring their instrumental post-rock to Gorilla, Manchester on 18 June 2026. Formed in 2004 in San Marcos, Texas by guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, the band crafts spacious pieces where saturated guitars, ambient textures and drone-like layers intertwine. Spotted with the self-released Young Mountain EP in 2005 and the self-titled album in 2008, they’ve since broadened their palette: the darker Tunnel Blanket (2011), the more melodic and layered Another Language (2014), then the twin volumes New Others Part One and Part Two (2018). Their writing leans on long builds, stark dynamic shifts and minimal vocals, a language that has also found a place in films and series. On stage, themes surface slowly, swell and recede, carried by detail as much as volume.
