Marina brings The Princess of Power Tour to O2 Academy Glasgow on 1 June 2026. Formerly Marina and the Diamonds, the Welsh artist has shaped a pop identity that blends bright melodies, new wave touches and lyrics exploring identity, power, celebrity and relationships. From the debut The Family Jewels and the persona-driven Electra Heart to Froot’s more organic palette, then Love + Fear and Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land with a clearer social focus, she moves between indie pop and electropop. On stage she connects these chapters in tight, hook-led songs carried by synth textures and a direct presence.
Opening, Canadian singer-songwriter Mikayla Geier brings alt-pop writing marked by years of ballet training. After the EP Bloomington and the 2024 album Here We Go Again..., her recent singles have sharpened a clear, candid voice. Live, she channels movement and vulnerability into concise songs, setting the tone before Marina.
