Kraftwerk: Multimedia Tour 2026

Info

Kraftwerk return to the UK and Ireland in 2026 under the direction of Ralf Hütter. On 29 May 2026 at Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield, the Düsseldorf group presents its multimedia live show: four consoles aligned on stage, sequenced rhythms, vocoder-treated voices and graphics tightly synced to the music. The performance draws across five decades of material, from the early motorik pulse to the streamlined robot pop defined on Autobahn, Radio-Activity, Trans-Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World and Tour de France.

Themes of technology, transport and everyday networks run through the set, revisited with the precise electronics that have shaped Kraftwerk’s stage language. Expect sharp minimal melodies, mechanical grooves and the play between human presence and machine logic that has influenced synth-pop, electro and techno. This Sheffield date is part of a new run across the UK and Ireland, their first UK tour since 2017, and continues the group’s focus on audiovisual immersion: music and imagery locked in step, past tracks reprogrammed for the present and projected with clarity.
