The Glasgow trio of Jon, Baz and Mince return to the album that put them on the map, a burst of indie rock with garage edges, tight riffs and big hooks. The show leans into that first tracklist, with staples like Chelsea Dagger and Whistle for the Choir, and the raw, melodic energy that made those songs stick.
Formed in 2005, The Fratellis built their identity on brisk guitars and a sharp sense of melody. After the breakout of Costello Music in 2006, they widened the frame across We Need Medicine, Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied, In Your Own Sweet Time and Half Drunk Under a Full Moon, adding soul inflections and more orchestral colors without losing their punch. This anniversary date brings that journey home to Glasgow, connecting the rush of their early days with the craft of the records that followed, in a set shaped around the album that started it all.
