Lights

Lights brings her sharp blend of synth-pop and electropop to The Globe in Cardiff on 10 May 2026. The Canadian singer-songwriter first made her mark with a self-titled EP and The Listening in 2009, setting a keyboard-driven sound with direct, melodic vocals. Siberia in 2011 leaned into grittier textures before she stripped things back on Siberia Acoustic, while Little Machines in 2014 tightened her songwriting around bright, precise electronics. A taste for reworks continued with Midnight Machines in 2016, then Skin & Earth in 2017 linked her music to a comic-book universe that she writes and illustrates, blurring lines between songs and visuals. Along the way, collaborations with acts like Bring Me The Horizon and Owl City added a rock and electro edge to her pop instincts. With PEP in 2022, Lights balanced kinetic beats and more introspective cuts, a dynamic she carries on stage.
