David Gray brings his quietly intense songwriting to London on 10 June 2026 at Hampton Court Palace, Molesey. Raised between Cheshire and Wales, he’s shaped a sound that threads folk rock, alternative rock and pared-back pop, carried by a grainy voice, spare piano lines and discreet electronic textures.
The set looks across the arc of his catalogue: the White Ladder period that carried Babylon, This Year’s Love and Sail Away, through the nocturnal tones of A New Day at Midnight and Life in Slow Motion, to later work from Mutineers, Gold in a Brass Age and Skellig. On stage, Gray lets the songs breathe, moving between guitar and piano and favouring pulse and detail over flash. A night built around melodies that unfold slowly and lyrics that stay close, in a venue that matches the scale of his music.
