Slaughter to Prevail land at O2 Academy Bristol on 12 August 2026 with a set tailed to their mix of modern death metal and deathcore. Built around vocalist Alex “Alex Terrible” Shikolai and guitarist Jack Simmons, the band pivots between rapid-fire riffs, cavernous growls and heavy breakdowns, switching between English and Russian lyrics. Tracks from Misery Sermon and Kostolom sit alongside newer material that leans into groove and varied structures without softening the blow.
Also on the bill, São Paulo’s Crypta channel a dark, straight-ahead death metal approach. Fernanda Lira holds the frontline on bass and vocals with Luana Dametto on relentless drums, while guitarists Tainá Bergamaschi and Victoria Villareal serrate the edges with fast picking and stark melodies. Cuts from Echoes of the Soul and Shades of Sorrow frame a sound that balances velocity, weight and an ear for detail.
Chained Saint rounds out the night with a tense, old-school-leaning thrash streak. Their debut Blindside, recorded to tape for an unvarnished feel, sets the tone: compact riffs, tight tempos and a live energy that stays raw and direct.
