Info
Warmduscher play The White Hotel, Salford on 21 May 2026. Formed in North London in 2015 by a loose crew with ties to Fat White Family, Paranoid London, Insecure Men and Childhood, the band built its name on raw, groove-led sets made for movement. On stage they splice post-punk grit with garage-disco pulse: low-slung basslines, clipped guitars, motorik drums and deadpan chants. The mood shifts from nocturnal funk to abrasive noise in a snap, but the dancefloor pull remains, echoing the project’s beginnings at a New Year’s party. In the studio they’ve worked with Joe Godard and Dan Carey; live, that taste for heady repetition and sharp hooks stays rough-edged and immediate.
Tight rhythms, spoken-sung taunts and a rhythm section locked to the beat define the show, while guitars and electronics scratch around the groove. It’s music built for small rooms, sweat and sideways smiles, delivered with a dry swagger. The set tends to push tempos and lean into the pulse, turning their mongrel sound into something tense and physical. Warmduscher keep it simple: rhythm first, menace and humour just beneath the surface.
