Info

Public Service Broadcasting land at Alexandra Palace in London on 26 September 2026 with their distinct blend of guitars, synths and archival voices. Conceived by J. Willgoose Esq. and long-time drummer Wrigglesworth, the project has grown on stage with multi-instrumentalist JFAbraham and the visual work of Mr B, turning slices of public information films, newsreels and documentary audio into engineered instrumentals and spoken-word narratives.

Across albums built around strong themes, PSB have charted space exploration on The Race for Space, traced Welsh mining history on Every Valley, mapped Berlin on Bright Magic and, most recently, followed Amelia Earhart’s final journey on The Last Flight. From the early collage of Inform-Educate-Entertain to recent material, they keep reworking history as music. The live show connects these stories: propulsive rhythms, krautrock-leaning patterns and warm electronics sync to period samples and projected images, shifting from mechanical pulse to airier melodies. At Alexandra Palace, the large stage frames their audiovisual approach, with brass, loops and steady percussion carrying the archive into the present.
