From early breakthroughs like Love Really Hurts Without You and Red Light Spells Danger to the mid‑80s run of Suddenly, Love Zone and Tear Down These Walls, his catalogue favors tight hooks, warm grooves and a supple voice that carries both uplift and slow-burn romance. Expect a set that moves easily between dancefloor pulse and sing-along ballads, drawn from a career that has kept him active in the studio and on the road right up to One World.
Very special guest Marti Pellow opens the night. First known as the voice of Wet Wet Wet, he has built a solo path that ranges from the pop of Smile and Between the Covers to soul and jazz-leaning projects like Moonlight Over Memphis and Sentimental Me, before returning to songcraft on albums including Devil and the Monkey and Stargazer. His years in musicals such as Chicago, Chess and Jekyll & Hyde sharpened a storyteller’s phrasing, bringing a relaxed, theatrical ease to pop, soul and ballads.
