Portland, Oregon-based singer-songwriter Laura Veirs blends folk with indie rock. She has collaborated with artists such as k.d. lang, Neko Case, Sufjan Stevens, Jim James, The Decemberists and Bill Frisell. In 2026, Laura releases her new album, Temple Songs—her first in four years and the first she has written, recorded, arranged, produced and performed entirely on her own. Built around Veirs' fingerstyle nylon-string guitar, vocals and electric guitar, the new songs are presented live in a stripped-back set with Laura accompanied by Karl Blau on electric guitar.
