Info
Shinedown bring Dance, Kid, Dance Act II to Glasgow with a set built on muscular riffs, big melodies and a knack for switching from charge-ahead rock to stripped acoustic moments. Formed in Jacksonville around vocalist Brent Smith with Barry Kerch, Eric Bass and Zach Myers, the band blends hard rock, post‑grunge and melodic metal, often tapping into themes of resilience and inner conflict. Since Planet Zero in 2022, their formula stays sharp and direct, made for large rooms and collective sing‑alongs. See them at OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 16 November 2026.
Coheed and Cambria add their progressive streak, where post‑hardcore edges meet intricate song structures and Claudio Sanchez’s soaring vocals. Longtime architects of The Amory Wars universe, they weave concept‑driven narratives into shifting tempos and bright hooks, from early 2000s staples to the Vaxis cycle, keeping the balance between storytelling and impact on stage.
Opening the night, Those Damn Crows fly the Welsh flag with tight, melody‑first rock. Shane Greenhall and his crew cut through with clear guitar lines and a hard rock backbone, from the early underground rise of Murder and the Motive to Point of No Return, Inhale/Exhale and their 2025 release God Shaped Hole. A direct, energetic warm‑up before the evening kicks up a gear.
