Plastilina Mosh

Plastilina Mosh land in Rome: the Monterrey duo Alejandro Rosso and Jonás González, who emerged in the Avanzada Regia wave of the late ’90s, bring their label-free crossover to Largo Venue on September 15, 2026. A shifting live show built on rhythmic interlocks and sounds that flow between hip-hop, alternative rock and electronic music, with detours into big beat, acid jazz, lounge and pop.

From their debut Aquamosh (1998), bilingual in Spanish and English, to Juan Manuel (2000), more dance-pop oriented, and through Hola Chicuelos (2003) and All U Need Is Mosh (2008), Plastilina Mosh have refined a songwriting approach based on sonic collages, sudden changes of pace, keyboards up front and off-kilter guitars. On stage everything becomes living material: taut beats, synths and samples, elastic basslines and stop-and-go moments that set the dancefloor back in motion.

The setlist includes the classics that have taken them across Latin American scenes and a few new tracks, for an evening that blends irony, groove and a desire to dance without locking itself into a single genre. A bilingual, direct set that alternates melody and angular edges, leaving room for improvisation and for that taste for sonic montage that has made them one of the most recognizable voices of contemporary Latin hybridization.
