Marta Del Grandi is a Milanese singer-songwriter. A musician with a jazz background, she studied at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan and in Belgium at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. Driven by a strong passion for travel and the discovery of different places and cultures, she later moved first to China for a short period and then to Nepal, where she stayed in Kathmandu for two and a half years.

Living in such a different place and getting to know it deeply greatly influenced her outlook on the world and, consequently, the music and lyrics she wrote for her solo debut Until We Fossilize (2021).

The album, released on the British label Fire Records, is an avant-pop work that brings together folk-rock elements, Lynchian atmospheres, and cinematic arrangements reminiscent of Ennio Morricone's film scores.

In 2023 she released Selva (Fire Records). Her latest work, Dream Life, is expected on January 30 via Fire Records.
