Mahmut Orhan returns to Chinois Ibiza with Sounds Like Pillow Talk, a residency conceived for an intimate dancefloor, with a measured pulse and atmospheres meant to be heard up close. A producer and DJ from Istanbul, he blends deep and melodic house with Oriental motifs, restrained basslines, and a taste for vocals and string arrangements, bringing songcraft closer to club functionality. Behind the decks, his sets are shaped by melodic build-ups and acoustic details that leave room for movement without sacrificing rhythmic clarity.
He is joined by Volkoder, who offers a straightforward take on house and tech house: firm grooves, precise percussion, and basslines that drive the floor. Franc Fala, based in Amsterdam, contributes a percussive house palette with Afro accents and melodic tension; together with Benja in a back-to-back (b2b) format, they open the night to interaction and surprise. Isa Roos also joins, rounding out an evening of varied journeys within the same intimate setting.
