Moon Walker

Moon Walker lands at The Academy, Dublin, on November 1, 2026. Led by singer-guitarist Harry Springer, the US project blends alternative rock, garage bite and 70s-flavoured psychedelia. Often joined on recordings by drummer Sean McCarthy, Springer builds songs on saturated riffs, thick grooves and vintage keyboard textures, while the lyrics probe social and political tensions without theatrics.

Since the debut album Truth To Power (2021), Moon Walker has shaped a sound that balances grit and melody. The Attack Of Mirrors (2022) broadened the scope, shifting between jagged rushes and more pop-leaning hooks. Apocalypticism (2023) pushed into present-day concerns — anxiety, media saturation, technological drift — carried by heavy guitars and assertive rhythms.

Live, the band keeps it direct: sharp dynamics, driving beats, and choruses that catch without overstatement. It’s a set built on energy and contrast, drawing from classic textures but grounded in now, where the punch of the instruments serves lyrics that look the times in the eye.
