ZAYN brings The Konnakol Tour to 3Arena in Dublin on 14 May 2026. Bradford-born Zain Javadd Malik has steered his solo work away from boy-band formulas, favouring contemporary R&B and a muted alternative pop tone. From Mind of Mine (2016) through Icarus Falls (2018) and Nobody Is Listening (2021), his writing leans inward: slow, vaporous productions, falsetto turns and soul-tinged textures. Room Under the Stairs (2024) widened the frame with a more organic feel, pulling in shades of soul, folk and a light country grain.
On stage, that palette becomes a fluid set that shifts from minimalist R&B ballads to warmer, guitar-led pieces, leaving space for nuance and rhythm.
