Christopher Cross

Christopher Cross brings his soft-rock songbook to Gleneagle Arena in Killarney on 28 May 2026. Raised in San Antonio and revealed at the turn of the 80s, the singer-guitarist shaped a melodic West Coast pop sound later tagged as yacht rock. His self-titled debut (1979) delivered Ride Like the Wind and Sailing, followed by the theme for the film Arthur co-written with Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager. Through the 80s and beyond, Cross kept exploring sleek arrangements and gentle harmonies on albums from Another Page and Back of My Mind to Doctor Faith, Secret Ladder and Take Me As I Am.
