Info
On 2 May 2026, Nathan Carter brings his country-and-Irish songbook to 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Liverpool-born to a family from Newry and based in Ireland since he was 18, the singer is also an accordion, guitar and piano player, and he mixes Nashville inflexions with Irish folk colours. On stage, it’s about the voice first, with a band that slips in Celtic touches, slow-burning ballads and lively two-steps.
His set leans on well-known standards and his own material, from early tracks to the Wagon Wheel cover that opened him to a wider audience in 2012. Between tender stories and dancefloor tunes, he moves with ease from acoustic moments to fuller arrangements, switching instruments and tempos without fuss. Recent albums like Music Man and The Morning After point to a catalogue built for live rooms. The evening connects country melodies with popular Irish tradition, carried by singalongs and a warm, straightforward sound.
