Placebo « 30th Anniversary Tour »

Placebo bring their 30th Anniversary Tour to Dublin on 2 December 2026 at 3Arena. Led by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, the band has pushed alternative rock toward glam, post-punk and electronic textures since their 1996 debut. Thirty years in, they line up material from across all eras: the raw edge of the early days, the widescreen pulse of Black Market Music and Sleeping With Ghosts, and the colder synth shades of their later work. On stage, taut guitars, elastic bass lines and Molko’s unmistakable voice carry the set, with staples like Every You Every Me, Pure Morning, Nancy Boy or The Bitter End often in the mix, alongside deep cuts and refreshed arrangements.

Formed in London and spotted early by David Bowie, Placebo toured with Depeche Mode and kept refining a signature that slips from jagged noise to melodic melancholy in a heartbeat. For this anniversary run, Molko and Olsdal are joined by their live band, building a show on tension and release, tempo shifts and crisp dynamics. It’s a snapshot of three decades condensed into one night, tracing how their songs connect and evolve in real time at 3Arena, Dublin.
