Info
White Denim land at Whelan’s in Dublin on 28 August 2026. Formed in Austin in 2006, the band carved out a restless, elastic take on rock that folds garage grit, psych detours, soul inflections and flashes of jazz fusion into compact, twitchy songs. At the centre, singer-guitarist James Petralli and bassist Steve Terebecki drive quick cuts, knotty riffs and abrupt shifts that open into loose, charged stretches. Early releases like Workout Holiday and Fits laid the foundation; D and Corsicana Lemonade widened the frame without sanding off the edges. From their Radio Milk base in Austin, they kept the line hot with Stiff, Performance and Side Effects, then World as a Waiting Room, the Raze Regal collaboration, and 12 in 2024.
On stage, White Denim push feel and precision in equal measure: guitars interlock, rhythms snap, and structures flex without losing momentum. It’s a set built for movement, switching lanes between punchy hooks and wired improvisation, the kind that turns a tight idea into a live conversation.
