Weatherday

Weatherday lands in Poznań on 11 May 2026 at Klub pod Minogą. Built around the Swedish artist Lola, also known as Sputnik, the solo project draws a line between lo-fi indie, emo and shoegaze. The songwriting leans on long, shifting forms: layered guitars, saturated textures, jagged drums and a voice filtered just enough to blur the edges, where fragile melodies meet rougher bursts of noise.

First circulated online at the end of the 2010s, the material came into focus with the self-produced album Come In (2019), then opened further with Weatherglow in 2022, a collaboration with Asian Glow that pushed toward denser, near post-rock contours. Non-linear structures, abrupt transitions and an embrace of imperfections anchor the project in a DIY ethos while staying wired to internet-era influences.

On stage in Poznań, Weatherday extends that bedroom logic into a live setting: songs stretch and pivot, moving from hushed riffs to thick distortion swells, letting dynamics do the talking while motifs break apart and reconnect. A set for listeners who want intimacy and friction in the same breath, carried by guitars that shimmer and scrape in equal measure.
