Info
On 17 August 2026, MISSIO plays Klub Zaścianek in Kraków, Poland. Born in Austin in 2014, the duo formed around singer-producer Matthew Brue and, from 2016, producer and co-writer David Butler. Their sound blends alternative electronics, shadowy pop-rock and atmospheric hip-hop: firm drum patterns, saturated synth layers and a voice pushed to the front. The writing leans into themes of isolation, addiction and mental health, carried by hooks set over sub-bass and textured pads.
On stage, MISSIO moves between brooding mid-tempos and harder, beat-driven cuts, stitching stems and samples into compact arrangements that keep the vocal line in focus. The set digs through the early EP I Don’t Even Care About You and the albums Loner, The Darker the Weather // The Better the Man, Can You Feel the Sun, VILLAIN and I Am Cinco, with room for pieces from the Skeletons series. Older tracks and recent material trade places without nostalgia, drawing a line through the duo’s evolution while keeping attention on the pulse, the words and the balance between weight and space.
