Geordie Greep

Geordie Greep brings his solo project to Warsaw on July 5, 2026 at Hydrozagadka, 11 Listopada 22, Warszawa. Known as the singer, guitarist and principal writer of Black Midi, he now pushes his own vision on stage, keeping the sharp rhythms, shifting structures and narrative edge that shaped the band, while opening up new colors and contrasts.

Drawing from his debut solo album The New Sound, Greep navigates experimental rock with detours through jazz phrasing, Latin-tinged grooves and character-driven songs. His guitar lines cut and coil around angular motifs, voices stack and swerve, and the writing leans on storytelling as much as on tension and release. The set promises tight turns, abrupt breaks and fluid passages where composition and impulse meet, carried by a theatrical, precise approach to vocals.

This show is a chance to catch Greep refining that hybrid language live: a mix of art rock rigor, post-punk bite and improvisational sparks, sketched with a composer’s care.
