Placebo - 30th Anniversary Tour

Placebo bring their 30th Anniversary Tour to Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki on 18 October 2026. Led by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, the UK alternative rock band emerged in the mid-90s with lean guitars, distinctive vocals and a taste for shadowy melodies. Their 1996 debut set a template they kept stretching across the years, from the mood and pulse of Sleeping With Ghosts to later records, while collaborations and stages shared with David Bowie and Depeche Mode helped shape a live identity that’s direct and uncluttered.

For this date, the set looks across three decades: early tracks that built their name, mid-period staples and newer material adapted for the stage. Molko’s voice stays at the centre, Olsdal’s bass and guitars drive the shifts in energy, and the current live lineup tightens everything without tipping into nostalgia. The focus is on songs and dynamics, trading restraint and surge, noise and space. Three decades in, Placebo trace their path without losing their core sound at Veikkaus Arena, Helsinki.
