Westside Gunn brings the Buffalo school of raw East Coast rap to Milan on May 30, 2026 at Gate Milano. Co-founder of Griselda with Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher, he has shaped a stark, loop-driven aesthetic built on soul and jazz samples, a staccato delivery and high-pitched ad-libs. His lyrics thread street narratives with luxury fashion, contemporary art and pro wrestling, a mix that runs through the long series Hitler Wears Hermes and a line of albums: Flygod (2016), Supreme Blientele (2018), Pray for Paris (2020), Who Made the Sunshine (2020), 10 (2022) and And Then You Pray for Me (2023). In close orbit with producers Daringer, The Alchemist and Madlib, he pushes a grainy boom bap that favors space and detail, keeping the focus on voice and texture.
