Eivør plays Vega in Copenhagen on 24 February 2027. The Faroese singer-songwriter moves where Nordic folk meets pop writing, jazz inflections, rock shades and restrained electronics. Raised in Syðrugøta and shaped by years in Reykjavik, she shifts from traditional vocal phrasing to contemporary forms, singing in Faroese, English and sometimes Icelandic.
On stage, the set spans sparse, intimate pieces and denser, atmospheric songs, with modal melodies, hovering drones, discreet beats and attention to timbre and breath. Her repertoire ranges from early folk roots to broader productions heard on Larva, The Room, Bridges, Slør, Segl and her recent album Enn, linking ballads to more rhythmic passages without forcing the contrast. The North Atlantic palette stays present throughout, carried by writing that treats tradition as material to be reworked rather than fixed.
