Madsen bring their Ud Med Knud Tour ’27 to Nykøbing F. Teater in Nykøbing Falster on 12 March 2027. Formed in the early 2000s in rural Lower Saxony by brothers Sebastian, Johannes and Sascha Madsen with bassist Niko Maurer, the German indie rock band built its sound on driving guitars, melodic hooks and a straight-ahead pulse inherited from their punk roots. They sing in German, with lyrics that cut into everyday life, small-town youth, relationships and social questions in clear, unvarnished language. On stage, Madsen shift easily from tight, fast tracks to slower, more introspective songs, keeping the energy close to the crowd and the choruses easy to pick up even beyond the language barrier. Regulars of major German festivals like Rock am Ring, Hurricane or Southside, they have toured widely across the German-speaking world. In Denmark, they roll out a set that spans two decades, from early fan favourites to recent material from Hollywood, balancing punch and nuance without losing their direct, guitar-led edge.
