Moog History: Absis, Javi Gon

ABSIS is Salva Coromina, a regular DJ on the Barcelona scene since the late ’90s under the alias mouseDown/MouseUp. He was a resident DJ at The Loft (Razzmatazz) and a regular performer at Sónar for many years. He has consistently explored the depths of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS is currently a resident at Sala Laut in Barcelona with the Midline parties. He is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona. His productions are released on labels such as Hivern Discs, Affin and Oslated, among others, and he is part of the Grabaciones Perpendiculares label. He also uses other aliases in collaborations with other artists—Atàvic with Estrato Aurora, Absira with Marco Ragni, and Sonic Wave Collective with Spear and Cyklos.

A Barcelona DJ and music selector with a career tied to the local electronic scene. A resident of MOOG Club since 2006, his style blends techno, electro and trance with precise technique and the use of vinyl. Founder of projects such as LUXON, INSOMNI.BCN and ENTROPIA, he has performed at numerous clubs and collectives across Catalonia. In 2023 he returned as MOOG’s official resident.
