Info
On 28 November 2026 The Prodigy play the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. What began with Liam Howlett behind the machines grew in the 1990s into a front led by Keith Flint and Maxim that tightly fused rave and punk. From the early EP What Evil Lurks and the debut Experience on XL Recordings to Music for the Jilted Generation with “No Good” and the worldwide breakthrough of The Fat of the Land, the catalog has been built for the stage. Live, it’s about pounding breakbeats, raw synths and call-and-response, all delivered tightly with a band. With tracks like “Omen” and “Invaders Must Die” the group kept the fire alight, captured on the live album World’s On Fire and still the backbone of sets that push forward headlong.
Sleaford Mods bring their minimalist cut that night: Jason Williamson spits his lyrics while Andrew Fearn provides the beats and bass. The Nottingham duo blends post-punk, spoken word and stripped-down hip-hop rhythms; few layers, plenty of room for voice and timing. Their sharp observations on work, social pressure and provincial-town rhythms color releases such as Austerity Dogs, Divide and Exit and English Tapas. It’s not a conventional band setup, but dry patterns and a direct mise-en-scène that place the word front and center. The earlier cross-pollination with The Prodigy makes the link clear: two acts that deliver energy in its purest forms.
