Nine Vicious

Nine Vicious will perform on July 9, 2026 at Melkweg, Amsterdam. The rapper from Athens (Georgia) comes from the SoundCloud rap scene and builds on melodic trap: smooth vocals, compact hooks and tension-filled beats. Since 2024 he has been releasing material nonstop; I Love You and Ill Nva provided the first wave, followed by the mixtape Studio Addict (13 December 2024). In 2025 the pace picked up with the album Tumblr Music (31 March), the EP B4FN (6 June) and For Nothing (4 July).

On stage that workflow translates into short, sharp tracks and constant shifts between melody and urgency. The set leans on that recent repertoire, with songs that build quickly, hit immediately and leave little room for frills. Pitchfork placed Studio Addict alongside early Young Thug and Ken Carson, a comparison that neatly frames the contours of his vocal approach and the internet-driven aesthetic. Nine Vicious keeps things compact and agile: lots of rhythm, tight transitions and a tension that runs from start to finish.
