Austin-born electronic duo MISSIO brings its raw, alternative electronic sound to RUST, Guldbergsgade 8, 2200 Nørrebro, Denmark, on August 9, 2026. Built around vocalist and writer-producer Matthew Brue with producer and co-writer David Butler, the project leans on heavy percussion, layered synth lines and bass-driven grooves, with vocals pushed up front. Their writing circles themes of isolation, addiction and mental health, carried by direct melodies and a tense, atmospheric production.

On stage, the pair tightens their studio tracks into a set that moves between shadowy pop, rock-inflected electronics and touches of hip-hop. Expect a journey through early material like the I Don’t Even Care About You EP and the debut album Loner, through The Darker the Weather // The Better the Man and Can You Feel the Sun, to the grittier turns of VILLAIN and the more recent I Am Cinco, with nods to the Skeletons EP series. The live format centers on clear vocal lines, drum-forward arrangements and evolving synth textures, keeping the energy steady while letting each hook land without excess.
