Hot Since 82 [3hrs] + support

On 8 May 2026 Hot Since 82 will play at Lofi in Amsterdam. Daley Padley, the British DJ and producer behind the alias, has been carving out his own niche between deep house and tech house since the early 2010s. His approach is concise and playful at once: smooth rhythms, warm, full basses, slow, precise builds and often a vocal that kick-starts the groove without disrupting the tempo. In 2013 he stepped further into the spotlight with Bigger Than Prince, his collaboration with Green Velvet, after which his label Knee Deep in Sound helped anchor a clear aesthetic: club-focused, lucid and direct.

At Lofi he will extend that line over three hours, leaving room for subtle shifts and long arcs of tension. The set can move from compact and percussive to slightly more spacious and melodic, while the foundation remains constant: a continuous flow and basslines that keep rolling. Hot Since 82 works in layers, through transitions that breathe and grooves that grow patiently. Lofi provides the setting; he provides the pulse.
