Max Cooper 3D/AV

Max Cooper brings his 3D/AV live show to Paradiso, Amsterdam, on 7 May 2026. A London-based electronic composer and artist with a PhD in computational biology, he has spent the past fifteen years working at the meeting point between sound and science, approaching composition as a space of freedom. On stage, his detailed rhythms and atmospheric textures unfold with immersive visuals, building narratives that feel precise yet open.

His recent album On Being, released in February, threads thousands of anonymous audience quotations into a reflection on the human condition. The performance pushes that material further, with techno and electronica that are hypnotic yet built for movement. Audiovisual layers mirror the music’s structures: dense, pulsing sequences, slow-bloom melodies, and imagery that tracks the shifts in rhythm and tone. Cooper bridges lab and club, turning data, pattern and intuition into a live experience that stays close to the body.
