BASIS/ Mika Heggemann All Night Long

On Friday, 17 April 2026, Berlin DJ and producer Mika Heggemann will be playing all night long at BASIS in Utrecht. A co‑founder of the Polyamor crew, he moves effortlessly between bouncy techno and trance: energetic, emotionally charged and built for long nights. For more than a decade he has immersed himself in music and production; since the second half of the 2010s he has released singles and EPs under his own name and as Heggemann, with repetitive rhythms, atmospheric textures and minimalist melodies at their core.

Behind the decks this translates into patient transitions, a constant drive and a range that spans from tight, linear techno to more modular, hypnotic layers. Tension is slowly built, leaving room for trance influences without losing the groove. For the first time at BASIS, Heggemann will take over the booth for the entire night, delivering a set that gradually moves toward an immersive flow, tightly balanced between rhythmic impact and a dense, club‑oriented atmosphere.
