Kid Kapichi

Kid Kapichi arrive in Madrid for a concert at Sala El Sol on 12 December 2026. Formed in Hastings, the British band blends punk, alternative rock and post‑punk with songwriting grounded in everyday life. Jack Wilson, Ben Beetham, Eddie Lewis and George Macdonald combine dense guitars and melody, a spoken‑word‑like delivery, and lyrics that directly confront local politics, precarity, social frustrations and mental health.

The set mixes tracks from their debut This Time Next Year (2021), the sharper edge of Here’s What You Could Have Won (2022), featuring Bob Vylan, and the urban pulse of There Goes The Neighbourhood (2024). On stage the group favours direct engagement: upfront riffs, tight rhythms and memorable choruses, without losing sight of the narrative that defines them. It’s an opportunity to hear up close how their social outlook fits within the recent tradition of British rock, in the intimate setting of a venue that suits them well.
