Ivan Ferreiro

Iván Ferreiro will perform on 13 August 2026 at the Starlite Festival – Auditorio Marbella in Marbella, with a concert that traverses different stages of his career. Born in Nigrán (Galicia), he was the voice and principal songwriter of Los Piratas in the ’90s and the early 2000s, before embarking on a solo path alongside his brother Amaro. Since Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia (2005), he has carved out his own territory between indie pop, alternative rock and melodic songwriting, with arrangements that alternate between guitars, keyboards and more intimate passages.

His discography includes titles such as Las siete y media, Mentiroso mentiroso, Picnic extraterrestre, the live album Confesiones de un artista de mierda, Val Miñor-Madrid: historia y cronología del mundo, Casa, the tribute to Golpes Bajos Cena recalentada and, more recently, Trinchera pop (2023). In concert, Ferreiro typically weaves together eras and nuances, from an electric pulse to contemplative pauses, with an intimate delivery and precise lyrics. In Marbella, the show proposes revisiting his songbook and approaching his current creative moment with a band that puts the focus on the songs.
