Seguridad Social

Born from José Manuel Casañ’s Mediterranean dream, Seguridad Social is the story of a band that dared to mix. They started in 1982 in Valencia with a punk pulse and gradually incorporated ska, salsa, reggae and a touch of rock-soul until they established a signature sound that Casañ defines as Mediterranean rock: bright guitars, rhythms that invite movement and direct choruses. With 20 albums, dozens of singles and music videos, their repertoire has traveled across Spain and beyond, leaving songs that remain in the collective memory.

On April 11, 2026, at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Seguridad Social returns to the stage with that blend of rock energy and Latin influences that marked their 1990s records and continued to evolve afterward. Casañ, vocalist and songwriter, guides a set that looks back to their post-punk origins and moves through their most recognizable songs, with contemporary arrangements and that Valencian accent that has accompanied them from the start. A concert that spans four decades of songs and connects several generations.
