Lake Street Dive

Lake Street Dive bring their shape-shifting pop to Alcatraz, Milan, on 12 October 2026. Led by vocalist Rachael Price with Bridget Kearney (bass), Mike Calabrese (drums), Akie Bermiss (keys) and James Cornelison (guitar), the group folds soul, jazz and folk into harmony-forward songs. Live, that blend turns into tight grooves, clear melodies and stacked vocals that suit both movement and close listening.

Across Bad Self Portraits (2014), Side Pony (2016) and Obviously (2021), they have shaped a sound that balances hooks and craft. Their 2024 album Good Together, nominated for a Grammy, carries themes of connection, empathy and the tensions of the moment while keeping a light touch. The set at Alcatraz leans on these new tracks and reaches back to earlier material, rearranged with rich harmonies, elastic basslines, bright keys and spacious guitar.

Interplay is the core here: Price’s lead and the band’s call-and-response, pocket drumming that anchors the swing, Kearney’s counter-melodies and Bermiss’s warm keyboard textures. Lake Street Dive call it a joyful rebellion, songs that face the present with clarity and leave room to sing together.
